The Center for Health and Justice (CHJ) at TASC helps connect research, practice, and community in ways that advance innovative and evidenced-based strategies for promoting health and safety.
CHJ collaborates with community leaders and academic institutions to apply extensive research and development work, and the understanding of substance abuse, criminal activity, and general behavioral health toward practical solutions that stop the cycle of drugs and crime.
We respect and value cultural traditions, norms, and beliefs about health and justice while ensuring the interest, rights and needs of our clients and partners.
Our Mission:
To merge non-traditional and traditional perspectives and approaches to building and sustaining community and working to ensure the interests of individuals, families and communities through sound research.
