Technical Assistance and Training
Supporting communities from planning through implementation
Communities face complex challenges when designing and implementing health- and justice-focused reforms. Through Technical Assistance and Training, TASC’s Center for Health and Justice provides hands-on support to help partners move from vision to action.
CHJ works alongside jurisdictions to design, implement, and strengthen strategies such as deflection and diversion, cross-system collaboration, crisis response, and treatment and recovery integration. Our technical assistance is tailored to each community’s needs and may include strategic planning, program design, implementation support, and sustainability planning.
CHJ also delivers training for law enforcement, public health professionals, service providers, policymakers, and community stakeholders. Trainings are grounded in evidence and informed by practice, equipping participants with practical tools, shared language, and clear roles to improve coordination and outcomes.
By combining training with ongoing technical assistance, CHJ helps communities build capacity, strengthen partnerships, and implement solutions that are effective, equitable, and sustainable.
