Treatment and Recovery Capacity

Expanding access to care and strengthening recovery systems

service-treatmentrecovery

Strong treatment and recovery systems are essential to improving outcomes at the intersection of health and justice. Through Treatment and Recovery Capacity work, TASC’s Center for Health and Justice helps communities assess, strengthen, and expand access to services that support long-term health and stability.

CHJ partners with behavioral health providers, public agencies, justice system stakeholders, and community organizations to identify gaps in treatment availability, recovery supports, and system coordination. This work is grounded in evidence and informed by the realities of service delivery and community need.

Our approach focuses on building sustainable capacity across the continuum of care, including prevention, treatment, recovery support, and reentry services. CHJ supports communities in aligning policies, funding, and practices to ensure that people are connected to the right level of care at the right time.

By strengthening treatment and recovery infrastructure, CHJ helps communities redirect individuals into services that heal, improve continuity of care, and advance more effective, compassionate, and accountable systems.
