SHIELD-Enhanced Deflection & Technical Assistance Training
TASC’s Center for Health and Justice (CHJ) and the SHIELD Training Initiative have partnered to offer SHIELD-enhanced deflection training and technical assistance designed to increase officer buy-in, strengthen program implementation, and help communities realize the full potential of deflection.
Recognizing that every community is different, SHIELD and CHJ tailor their approach to each jurisdiction’s unique strengths, challenges, and capacity. By combining training with ongoing technical assistance, SHIELD-enhanced deflection helps communities build sustainable, effective deflection initiatives.
